Terms of Service

Effective: July 2026 · BuildMate ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted design-to-CNC software.

1. Subscription

BuildMate Pro is billed monthly ($49) or yearly ($490) via Stripe, with a 14-day free trial. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.

2. License

Your license key is personal to your shop and may be used on machines you own. Keys are deactivated when a subscription ends.

3. Safety & machine output — important

Always air-cut first. BuildMate generates toolpaths and G-code with automated checks, but CNC machining is inherently dangerous. You are solely responsible for verifying every program on your machine, using correct workholding, tooling, feeds and speeds, and following your machine manufacturer's safety procedures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildMate is not liable for damage to machines, materials, or persons arising from generated output.

4. Open-source components

BuildMate is built on FreeCAD (LGPL-2.1+). Source code of the modified engine components is available at our repository. FreeCAD license texts are included in the application bundle.

5. Refunds

If something isn't working for you, contact support@buldmate.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll make it right.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
